SHIYA — A Vision of Hope for Kyrgyzstan’s Healthcare Future
for Kyrgyzstan’s Healthcare Future
In April 2026, MediThinQ joined the Kyrgyzstan SHIYA Surgical Mission together with Asan Medical Center and Kyrgyz National Hospital to support the advancement of reconstructive surgery, microsurgical education, and long-term clinical capacity in Kyrgyzstan.
The mission was more than a medical visit. It was a meaningful step toward sharing surgical knowledge, strengthening local expertise, and creating sustainable impact through advanced 3D surgical visualization.
A New Leap for Kyrgyzstan Micro Surgery
As part of the mission, the SHIYA Donation Ceremony was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, marking a new milestone for local reconstructive and microsurgical care.
Through this donation, SHIYA was introduced not only as a surgical visualization system, but as a platform for education, collaboration, and long-term clinical growth.
By enabling surgeons, medical staff, and trainees to share the same precise surgical view in real time, SHIYA supports a more connected and effective learning environment in the operating room.
More than a donation, it was the beginning of shared progress
Shared Surgical Vision
Real-time view for surgeons and trainees
Enhanced Surgical Education
See more, learn better, teach together
Sustainable Growth
Supporting future surgeries, training, and collaboration
Technology with Lasting Impact
During the mission, SHIYA supported surgical procedures and real-time clinical demonstrations, allowing local medical professionals to observe the operative field with greater clarity.
This shared surgical vision helps bridge the gap between expert surgeons and trainees by making complex procedures easier to observe, understand, and learn from.
SHIYA contributes to:
- Shared surgical vision between surgeons, medical staff, and trainees
- Enhanced surgical education through real-time visualization
- Sustainable growth by supporting future surgeries, training, and collaboration
This mission is coming to an end, but the journey continues with SHIYA for the reconstructive surgeons of Kyrgyzstan
Restoring More Than Health
For patients, reconstructive surgery means more than physical recovery.
It restores confidence, dignity, and the possibility of returning to normal life.
Through advanced 3D visualization, SHIYA helps surgeons operate with greater efficiency, precision, and shared understanding. In doing so, it supports not only clinical outcomes, but also the hope and quality of life that reconstructive surgery can bring to patients and their families.
Restoring patients’ prospects for a normal life.
A Vision of Hope for the Future
SHIYA — a vision of hope — restores patients’ prospects for a normal life, empowers surgeons to operate with greater efficiency, and brings renewed optimism and capacity to Kyrgyzstan’s healthcare system.
Through this mission, MediThinQ hopes to contribute to the continued development of reconstructive surgery in Kyrgyzstan and to support local surgeons as they build a stronger future for patient care.
Together with Asan Medical Center and Kyrgyz National Hospital, MediThinQ is honored to be part of this meaningful journey.
